Irecently updated my iPhone 14 Pro Max to IOS 17 and everything has been working really well. I woke up this morning and my iPhone's touch screen was unresponsive and won't let me unlock my phone. I found a way to restart my phone by clicking the top volume button, then the bottom volume button, and then holding the lock button, however that did not fix the issue. I work primarily off of my phone so I need to get this fixed ASAP. Any tips?

Try to press and release Up volume and release > Press down volume and release > Press and Hold Power button till the screen goes black and as soon as the screen goes black, take your hands off the buttons!

If your iPhone starts glitching, the first step you should take is to restart your phone. In some instances, the apps on your phone may be the reason for glitches. If all fails, one should think about taking the iPhone to the nearest Apple istoreor to replace the phone altogether.

Many types of Iphones glitches may come as a result of running high-powered apps, way above the running capacity of the phone's GPU and on some occasions, a decrease in your battery will also lead to glitches. If you face the same problem again, you can visit any of the nearest iStores or contact any 3rd party websites for screen replacement. Some of the popular sites include maxbhi, amazon, xfurbish.com and so on...

my iPhone x just started doing something similar a couple of months ago. the screen had never been replaced, i cleaned the whole phone+speakers regularly and i always had a case on it. it was in the shower and a little water got on top of the case and it shut off and would not turn back on. the next day i finally got it to turn back on but face id didn't work and then a couple weeks later the screen turned static (like you said just like an old tv).

We understand you're having a problem with the screen mirroring since you can't hear any sound. We're happy to assist you further. Please try to check the volume settings. It's a simple and basic fix: turn the volume down on your phone or tablet and turn it up on your Roku. Restart the devices. Try restarting both your phone and Roku device.

Before we proceed, can you please confirm if you are unable to get any sound to all of the channels you were trying to airplay? If so, we'd be happy to coordinate this with the appropriate Roku team to further investigate your device. With this being said, kindly provide us with the following details below:

I'm having the same problem, the touchscreen broke out of nowhere. It was replaced with an original 2nd hand screen and the proximity and light sensor were also replaced. This problem occurred after the screen replacement. It was sent to the repair center again and although different screens and sensors were tried, the problem did not improve. No fault was detected in the logic board. Press and hold in the notification center and wallpaper change also does not work. I think the problem is caused by iOS 17.1. There may be a bug in the notification center. I would appreciate if anyone who can find a solution shares it.

I have the same issue with my 14 Pro Max. I had a dead pixel on my OEM screen and the apple store people still tried to charge me to replace the display even though it was under the 1 year warranty and there was no physical damage. I ended up ordering an OEM display that was pulled from another iPhone 14 pro max and swapping it myself. As soon as I replaced the display, notifications stopped making it light up but everything else worked fine. The only thing that I did to make it start lighting up again was turn on "always on display" in settings, which I'm not a big fan of. Now at least when i have this on, it will brighten up to full brightness when i get a notification. This is the only thing i found that "fixes" it. If anyone has another solution please share.

I got a new iPhone 15 Pro Max and I'm trying to find a reliable way to mirror my iPhone's screen onto my PC running Windows 11. I've seen several methods online, but I'm not sure which ones are the most effective and user-friendly. Ideally, I'm looking for a solution that offers high-quality mirroring without too much lag, and it would be great if it also supports audio transmission.

Has anyone here successfully mirrored their iPhone to a Windows 11 PC? I'm open to both free and paid solutions, as long as they are reliable and straightforward to use. Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

MirrorTo is a great screen mirroring tool that allows you to mirror your iPhone screen to your Windows 11 PC wirelessly. Simply download and install MirrorTo on both your iPhone and PC, ensure they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and follow the on-screen instructions to establish a connection. LetsView offers high-quality mirroring and supports audio transmission.

One of the most common methods is to use third-party applications like ApowerMirror, AirServer, or Reflector. These applications allow you to mirror your iPhone's screen to your Windows 11 PC over a Wi-Fi network. First, download and install one of these applications on your Windows PC. Make sure your iPhone and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network for seamless mirroring.

After installing the chosen application on your PC, open it and follow the on-screen instructions to set it up. For instance, with ApowerMirror, you would need to download the companion app on your iPhone from the App Store. Once both applications are installed, open the app on your iPhone and connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC.

On your iPhone, swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen to access the Control Center. Tap on "Screen Mirroring" and select the mirroring app that you have installed on your PC. Your iPhone's screen should then appear on your Windows 11 PC. The process might slightly vary depending on the app you are using, so it's advisable to follow any specific instructions provided by the app.

Zoom on a Mac or PC allows you to share the screen of an iPad, or iPhone, with your meeting. This enables you to use your iPad as a whiteboard that your fellow meeting attendees can see, or you can show a PowerPoint presentation from your iPad and use the touchscreen to annotate as you present.

Research has shown that when children hold books or screens too close to their eyes, and for long periods of time, this increases the risk of developing myopia, also known as short-sightedness.1 Read more about this below. It has also been shown that screen viewing reduces the rate of blinking,2 which can lead to dry, uncomfortable or red eyes. Blinking is an essential process to keep the eye surface healthy and vision as clear as possible.

Children (and adults) also tend to hold screens closer than books and print material. This increases the visual demand on the eyes' focussing system.3,4 Digital eye strain may be suffered by up to 50% of people who use screens, with symptoms including sore, tired, dry eyes and headaches.4

Once myopia develops in children, it typically deteriorates every few to several months until the late teens or early 20s, causing worsening vision.5 Myopia is a significant concern to quality of life in children and teenagers, and poses a risk to long-term eye health.6
