Originally, I though that January 6th would be too soon for 2.7 Apha 1
because it would not contain enough to justify a release. However, the
CHANGES are occuring quickly, and wider testing and use would be
useful.

General Plan:

2.7 Alpha 1 is January 6th
2.7 Alpha 2 is January 20th.
2.7 Alpha 3 is February 3rd.
2.7 Alpha 4 is March 17th.

I'll probably do 2.6 Beta 2 on February 3rd as well.
