Not quite sure how to do this.

When I boot, ALSA is messed up.
If I run:
/etc/init.d/alsa force-restart

Sounds works just fine.

So I would like a work around where I can run this either after I boot
(after the other services start) or perhaps when the GUI starts. This
requires root privileges, so I am not sure how to do that.

I tried changing its link name in /etc/rc5.d from: S17alsa to S98alsa,
but that also have no affect.

Any examples or suggestions?

TIA.

I see there is a new temporary support forum.
I will post my question over there.

Do be aware the new permanent support forum is just about ready.
