What's up with these C??? Do you need help with the preparation> I'm
in! Talked to the grant coordinator at school yesterday and it seems
they have some money to spend! I am working on the proposal for TC
summer with students. He is checking into it though. Because, I
already submitted one grant for Southern Graphics i wonder if the
committee will be receptive to two grants from one art faculty
member.....He said to put it in someone elses name, get another
faculty to back it...seems like a plan with Michael from sculpture
maybe!

oh, also over the summer, I spoke to Bill about coordination with
Arrowmont with TC...but not for teaching a class.I was thinking about
using Arrowmont as a base of sorts for the TC crew and looking for
grants that would allow the crew to work with local artists to learn
technique, methods, etc....or set up some kind of thing with Tennesee
Cultural group to have a history of a region of sorts?? Gatlinburg
maybe a crazy but rich resource to use to do community based projects
at some point. THeir summers are crazy, but maybe in an off season for
Arrowmont. They were looking for ways to utilize the campus when they
aren't packed with students.

New page here - the top of the page is the text from the recently
submitted minigrant to the iowa arts council. It's worth reading if
you might come this summer - to familiarize yourself with the goals
and concepts at the root of all of this.

Below is a grant due this friday (!) for interactive art shows like
ours. I am currently working on this - if you have any free time and
would like to help put some words together, contact carlos
(ferguso...@gmail.com).

- or copy & paste it into your browser's address bar if that doesn't
work.

Hey, Looks good, I think the more in depth nature of the Black Rock is
really helping to focus and work out some of the issues. If you need
anything specific from me, ie group facilitation, or to put down a
stint in TX for workshops and warm weather, let me know, when you get
a closer version of the completed grant send out a note, I can read it
and have a friend or two read also.

Peace
