...And the last one for today, the history of hiding, made with
students from Albion College... post your thoughts about the
transitions between zoomed in and full screen in particular.

Thanks,

Carlos

isn't that always the question. seems alright here, but perhaps it
would be stonger without. the background is so starck thus making all
actions clear, so that the close up does not seem to clarify the
actions its highlighting.

seems like the other animals are just following, not necessarily
chasing because of the pace and his calm demeanor......I agree with
amy on the close ups, don't add anything at this point with the
exception of the interaction at the end with the green guy and grey
guy, that zoom helps amplify their exchange. It seems you could do a
couple of rounds at this speed and then a few ZOOOMMM!!! speed
ones! :).....where it is a flash of the animals???
It is a beautiful lil animation though.....those origami guys are
great and the animal unfolding is lovely!

Yeah, a faster crossing will work I think, I'll plug it in.  Music can make the chase into a chase I think.  John M wrote a sweet little smelling-the-flowers tune for the first solo crossing of the dinosaur, then I'm thinking some Tom Waits trashy sounding music (banging on cookie pans, breaking glass) for the chasers.

Maybe I will try a zoom of the chase birds at some point, the color is good (I imagine anyway)

Thanks,
