Autofoil on ti-nspire cas?

Hi, I'm having a problem trying to get the product .
What are the steps to get the product of a  expression?  Does it auto foil?

If you have the CAS version, go to menu, algebra, expand.   Then enter your equation:   expand((2x+3)(x+1))  Then enter will give 2x^2+3x-3.  
Non CAS will not do this.

Also if you choose menu, algebra, factor and then put the expanded answer you just got into the Factor() it gives you back the original equation.

I'm not familiar with the mathematical operation "auto foil."
Is it anything like the Distributive Property of Multiplication over Addition?

It's a stupid acronym that I never understood in high school or college.  It's for distributive property.    It's easier to just teach the actual rule of multiplying the first term in the first expression by each term in the second expression.   Then when there is more than 2 terms in an expression you don't have to learn a new rule or different approach to doing the problem.   It stands for First, Outside, Inside, Last.   It is apart to tell you which terms to multiply together.   But all the teachers I ever had used this rather then explaining and applying the distributive property rules.
