What is needed to recharge a TI-Nspire when the calculator battery
indicator reaches the red bar stage?

A recent post informed me of this situation and I find that I have this
as a problem on my personal CX, but we have nearly 50 at school which
could be in this situation. I need to find out how to correct this
problem as they have been in storage for about 12 weeks. I am not yet
desperate, but desperation may be setting in.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated as the charge indicator does
not turn on after 6 hours, the computer does recognize the calculator as
being plugged in to the USB port.

Thanks,

Tony

Some of the old suggestions might help...
1 Press the 'reset' on the back
2 Remove the battery, count to 10, press 'On' several times
3 Charge overnight
4 Clean all contacts [Nevil took no chances last year and did a thorough buff, with great results]
5 Note any slots that don't seem to charge; try other slots in the Dock/bay.
6 Switch batteries, you might need to buy some new re-chargeables (if they use those kind)
Good luck.
