Hey guys, anybody have a 100's chart for the TI Npsire? What I am thinking is an interactive form of a table that when you place new parameters on the possible values (ie divisibility rules, sums of place value digits, etc.) you could automatically update and refine the possibilities listed. Maybe a tall order, but Nelson, Marc, Steve....you  live for this kind of stuff! :)

For example, remove all numbers divisible by 3, remove all multiples of 4, remove all numbers whose sum of the 10's digit and hundred's digit is 11, etc.

Thanks,

Tammy

You've sent a greaat challenge out  Let's put a timer on them and see how long it takes.:-)  Or we could call this Race To The Top (of the table).

Oh, come on, not fair!!

I'm on vacation, Marc's watching NHL (go Canucks) and in Australia it's winter, nobody can work properly during winter.

I think you'll have a better chance asking Sean, Jeff or John ;)

Andy sure is talented with the cutting edge Nspire capabilities too.

Is something like this http://www.nctm.org/standards/content.aspx?id=25013
what you would want on the Nspire?

I just woke up!  Not fair!

Marc :)

P.S.  Yes, Nelson, GO CANUCKS!!!!

P.P.S. This kind of thing could be a fun event for T3 Chicago!

Sean,

I'm not 100% sure what Tammy has in mind, but I think that using the NCTM applet as a model would be a good starting spot.  That would be really cool and useful.  And it could be used to develop the divisibility rules, etc.  The sum of the digit stuff would be a nice add on.

This is nice.  Do we have a winner, Tammy?

Sean,

pretty much! The wonderful UK Splats will not show multiple factors
like the NCTM applet...and that is what I would love to have!

See, I knew someone would take this on.......this group is the best!
And yes, it would be a great topic for Chicago.....and a great way to
show collaboration again like when Nelson created the Buffon's needled
simulator that complemented my hands on investigation! Isn't this what
education is all about?!

And just for fun, here are another couple of variations on the theme. They may be useful for someone.
