G'day,

Is there a simple Ti-Nspire entry method to evaluate the inverse of a number(mod n ) or is it necessary to write a
program using Euler's algorithm or otherwise?

To add a function to your numtheory file, open the file found in the MyLib folder. Add your function (to problem 1 in the doc) making sure to change the Library Access to LibPub (show in Catalog) when creating the function. Recompile (Check Syntax & Store) and test the function, then save the doc and Refresh Libraries. Your function should appear in the Catalog along with the rest of the numtheory functions.

If you’d rather not mess with a TI-supplied file, just create a new document and save it in the MyLib folder. Your file will then appear in the Catalog along with your functions in Problem 1 of the doc.

Regards,

     John

I've gotten more utility out of this function than anything in the numtheory\ library, so thank you for your service, Bert. Is there anyway I can add the inv_mod() function to the numtheory\ program library?
