I've been using the TI nSpire CX CAS in every lesson of my AP Calculus BC class this year for the first time. I find that I don't really have a huge learning curve as we used to use the TI-89 for several years which is very similar. So, we're doing fine so far so good! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLL956Pn2cKSg87i4GEkaFO6bV8n1T0nEaI hit my first snag today, however. How do you animate a graph? On the TI-81/82/83/84/85/86/89/92/200 (yes I've taught with all of them over the years) there was a way to select a graph to animate with or without a path.
I was trying to show the trajectory of a canon ball shot straight up today with:
x1(t)=0
y1(t)=160t-16t^2
No mater what I did, all I could get was the completed graph, I could not 'slow' it down to show the motion. Am I missing something here, or is that just not available on the nSpire?
