Enlarge Text Python

Can you enlarge the draw_text() feature in TI-Nspire CX II Python (or enlarge text with another method)?

Unfortunately, it looks like there's no such option.

Under the hood, it's the same commands as Basic that are used, which you can find here: https://education.ti.com/html/webhelp/EG_TINspire/EN/Subsystems/EG_RefGuide/Content/M_RefGuide/RG_DrawCommand.HTML#:~:text=DrawText%2050%2C50%2C%22Hello%20World%22

It would be nice if Basic (and Python) could support setting text size (and font, style, etc.) like Lua, I agree :)

Yes, that would be a nice feature.

In the meantime…

Get a set of 26 images of the alphabet, name them ‘a’ through ‘z’ and use load_image and show_image from the ti_image module.

 

Attached is a 2-letter demo.
