Key is ‘simple function’
Only ‘certain’ functions are interactive. (linear, quadratics (in the right form!), basic trig.)
Sliders for the rest.

Subject: [tinspire] translate a piecewise function
Hi,
I can move a simple function from its endpoints and from its center.
I wanted to do the same with a piecewise function, but I cannot. True?
I tried to make a locator point on the p. function and drag that, but it did not work. [the point moves, but not the function]
My workaround is to create sliders and that works.
I was hoping to manipulate the function, not the parameters/sliders.
Any thoughts?

My bad: 13 YEARS.
2020-2007=13, not 17.
