Stats: Histograms

Hi All,

I have learned a lot from all of you, so thanks so much for all of the help! 

My AP Stats kids are trying to make a histogram with data that is already grouped with the frequencies attached to the value.  The Nspire will only make a dot plot....  Is there a way to make a histogram?  We certainly don't want to have to type in "20" 15 times....

Try to use freqTable▶list( . You find in the catalog.

Glad you are so excited.

If you can make a dot plot you can make a histogram.  Menu/Plottype/Histogram.

To add frequencies, create a new data list with the frequencies in it.  Then after plotting the variable normally, Menu/Plot Properties/Add Y Summary List

Plot the histogram with just the data.  Then MENU/PLOT PROPERTIES.../Y-Summary List and select the frequency list.
