Hi,

I'm just announcing the release of Nleash (author: ExtendeD)

I'm not taking part in anything, but just linking to the original
article on ticalc.org :

Let's sum up things in a few words:

Nleash is a tool which destroys the downgrade protection installed by the 2.1 OS, and also by the 2.0 OS (but only activated on TouchPad calculators).
With Nleash, you can downgrade all TI-Nspire calculators (both ClickPad and TouchPad) with a 1.x OS, even after installing OS 2.0 or 2.1.

In other words, we users are back in control of the devices we own, only
two weeks after TI's latest OS upgrade...

I wonder how these downgrade protections will be viewed now in light
of the recent rulings that say it is now ok to jailbreak your cell
phone. I mean, what is the difference?

We would be more than happy to see a little understanding from TI
towards the community...
The jailbreak things are quite like the Nleash+Ndless on the Nspires
so ....
