Happy Independence Day on this 248th birthday of the USA.
Today I was wrapping up a virtual TI-Nspire workshop - Teaching and Learning High School Mathematics - and the topic was transformations. So I recreated a file I had made several years ago. (I know you can make it with cool programs in TI-Basic or with Python, but using the graph page still such educational/pedagogical benefits.
f1(x) = sin(0.5(x+USA))
f2(x) = f1(x)+{1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13}
The stars are made with a scatter plot from the list on page 1.2.
The USA slider goes from 0 to 4pi and can be animated by right-clicking on the slider (ctrl menu with the TI-Nspire handheld) and selecting Animate.
