how to stop dead/unsolvable calculation?

Hi, with my old TI-89, I could easily pause/break some calculation that is taking too long to solve

but with with nspire CS-CAS, I did not figure out a method,...
everytime it happens only thing i could do is wait for >2mins (can not even turn it off)

Any solutions?

thanks Travis, i tried that

that is a brute method yes, and it reboots the calculator will takes sometime to restart

 i was hoping whether there is a more gentle method...

Hold down ON for about 10 seconds and see if that helps.

This method doesn't interrupt dialog boxes or request commands.
Infinite loops may take a little while to respond to holding down ON.
