Is there a period for renewing an expired TI NSpire CAS Software license?

My students start to receive warnings that the TI Nspire CAS Software license will expire in 30 days.

I have provided them with new licence codes, but apparently they can not enter this new license code yet.

After the current license has expired, will there be a 30-days trial period, for them to enter the new license code,

or must they have the new license code at hand the day the old expires?
