I just uploaded a conic sections file that has ellipses & hyperbolas
with sliders for changing the values of a & b. The foci are plotted so
that students can see how the foci change as the values of a & b
change.
I didn't see anything out there on it when I looked for a similar file
last year, and I've just gotten through making minor changes to it
this year, so I thought I would share it, in case anyone else can use
it.
I am sure that improvements can be made. Feel free to edit as you
please!
