OS Updates "OS 2.2"

Was wondering when's the next update for the Ti-nSpire OS?
Or, how often is the OS updated on the Ti-nSpire?

updates have appeared twice a year. Usually at the beginning of the summer and at the beginning of winter (although this year the "winter update" was in March at T3 conference. But it's not a written rule, there's no launch date annouced to my knowledge.

Updates are roughly twice a year.  Given the experience of the last few years I would expect the next update to come out around the time of T^3 event next year which is the end of February...

Cool, I'm also hoping they can add the lim() functionality to the Ti-
nSpire "Like they did to CAS".

limits won't be included on the Nspire. That's a symbolic manipulation feature and all symbolic calculation is forbidden in standardized testing on most countries. The same goes for solve, factor (except for integers), comdenom, expand, derivatives, integrals, etc.

Actually, since limit could return a number, I don’t see why there can’t be a nlimit() (numerical limit) function added, like nderiv and nint.

Cool, I feel the same here too. Especially that I like using the lim()
function.
And the conversion of measurements also. For now, I create them by
using
the spreadsheets that came with the Ti-nSpire. 1st I write in the
names of
the measurements, Feet in column A, and Inches in column B, then I
write
in the formula in the gray box on the B column.

Feet to inches for example, The formula I would write would be a[]*12.
Then all I have to do is input a number in feet "1" in the A column
below
the gray box. Then - on the 2nd column it would express 12 "12
inches".

Btw, for an nlim() function we could always use the TI-84 familiar 1E99
to represent infinity. Actually now that I think it about it, it might
not be that hard to define an nlim function or to create a program -
won't know until I try - which might not be for awhile...
