Animating a polar equation

Hi All,

I am trying to animate a polar equation

I tried putting a variable in the range an trhe use a slider but the grpah just oicks the current value on the slider and removes the variable.

Any suggestions

I hadnt considered the move move to parametric eqaution to graph the polar one. It might be too much for my students but will make a great demo.
