Fix is the number of decimal places; Float is the maximum number of
significant digits;

So, the number 3.14 will display as:

Float 1: 3
Float 2: 3.1
Float 3: 3.14
Float 4: 3.14
Float 5: 3.14
etc.

Fix 0: 3
Fix 1: 3.1
Fix 2: 3.14
Fix 3: 3.140
Fix 4: 3.1400
etc.

Float, without any number following it, means "use as many decimal
places as necessary, up to the max allowed.

Cheers,
Nelson
