I know how to graph a vertical line by using the text tool and dragging the equation to an axis.

Is there a way to restrict the range?

I am doing a calculator art project with students using the Ti-Nspire, and this would be very helpful.

Thanks,

I had this problem and here is what i found to work.

When you type in x=2 in the  text, use the such that bar | and type in a<y<b and it will restrict the values of y.  You can also edit it and it will update it.

Hope that this helps.

The way I do it (won't claim it to be the only way or best way) is to use parametric plotting.
Example, to plot x = 3 between -5 and 5 for y, type the following in a parametric graph type

x1(t) =3
y1(t) = t
-5<=t<5 | tstep = 0.13
