Hi,

I have Tinn-R version 8.01.03.04 and with this recent update, I cannot use anymore the CTRL+Q shortcut useful in other windows apps such as Outlook, because Tinn-R captures them all, and tries to do something like, I guess, Sending the R code right of the text typing cursor.

I have search in the Shortcuts configuration (Options menu) but could not find any setting using CTRL+Q.

Could you please check this out?

Thanks, and nice day to you.

Cordially,

Marc

Sorry: problem resolved... already! I had not noticed the panel "Hotkeys" inside the  Shortcuts/Keystrokes/Hotkeys (S/K/H) configuration window.

No: problem cancelled, for me at least! ;-)

Hi Marc,

It's been a long time since we spoke via email. I still have your suggestions to implement...

So, you have two ways:
1- FROM TOOLS WINDOW
  a) CTR + F8 (by default) to make the window Tools visible;
  b) Database/Hotkeys (R)/Send
  c) Double click in "Cursor to end line ----- Ctrl+Q" (it will open the interface S/K/H map)
  d) Double click in "Cursor to end line ----- Ctrl+Q" or press the button MANAGER (it will open the interface S/K/H manager)
  e) Type an new hotkey for, example Ctrl+Shift+Q (or other)
  f) Press the button CHECK
     - if Prior (if this is being used) is not, press OK/OK. Its is all!

2) FROM MAIN MENU
a) Tolls/Database/Hotkeys (R)
steps "b" to "f") Some that above

Let me know if you managed to solve the problem and if you found the interface for managing Shortcuts/Keystrokes/Hotkeys good.

Best,

Additionally, in the case of Keystrokes and Hotkeys, the "S/K/H map" window shows a button (Clear K or Clear H) that allows clearing (deleting) the assigned Keystroke or Hotkey.
