Tinn-R and rJava - XLConnet

Dear friends - I noticed that rJava did not load and therefore the use of the very convenoent XLConnect package failed when starting a session from within Tinn. Running the same commands in a clean R session was painfree. I believe this was not always so - would like to have Tinn-R running always - so is this a known problem?

We do not use this package regularly. Could you please describe the
basics of the problem you found?

Dear friends - thanks a lot - it was simple, and I found with help from
Martin Studer that it was missmatch between 32 and 64 bit - so from
Tinn I set up the call to R 64 bit -- that was the problem - so solved!
