Dear Dancing Friends,

Welcome to our Third Balkan Dance Tour together!
We are happy to be able to offer you this dancing pilgrimage through two emblematic regions in Greece and Bulgaria: Peloponnese, and Pírinska Macedonia. We chose them because they are places where the aspiration for Freedom was born, where the self-image of the people, worthy of being free from the oppression of a yoke that lasted centuries, was reborn. Thanks to this courage, rebellion and greatness of spirit, two peoples had the internal strength to grow and regain the most precious thing that was taken from them, Freedom!
The main purpose of our trip will be “The Freedom to Be”. We believe that, traveling and feeling, through dance, the pulse of Life in these places, will provide us with authentic experiences and unique discoveries, precious for our own spiritual journey, seeking a new connection, inspiration and willpower to become more and more free, whether in the right to autonomy in thinking, feeling and acting, or in the intention of being as faithful as possible to our essence and purpose.
Peloponnese and Pírinska Macedonia are regions of great natural beauty, rich in history, architecture, traditional art and cuisine. For 15 days we will experience a true ethnocultural immersion with lots of music and beautiful dances, in classes and parties, visits to historic places and walks in picturesque villages, where we will feel the flavour of the tradition of two of the richest countries in musical rhythms and dances in the Balkan Peninsula, Greece and Bulgaria.

The meeting point will be the Hotel in Athens, Greece, on September 10th,

and the closing will be in Sofia, Bulgaria, on September 25th.

The program includes:

• 15 nights in 3 or 4 star hotels, with breakfast.

• Dinner on days 8, 10 and 15 of the tour.  (No drinks included)

  Breakfast, lunch and dinner on days 11 and 12 of the tour. (No drinks included)

• All ground transportation.

• Flight Athens-Sofia on day 9 of the tour.

• Tickets to all sites, museums, churches and castles that will be visited.

• Local guides with translation when needed.

• Classes with local professional teachers/dancers.  

• Circle Dance sessions with Mariana and Pablo (whenever possible)

It doesn’t include:

• Flights (except Athens-Sofia)

• Transfer from/to airport before and after the tour (available upon previous booking)

• Tipping

• Medical insurance and cancellation insurance

• Personal expenses (laundry, drinks, telephone calls, etc.)

• Any expenses not detailed in this program.

• Any other meal which isn’t mentioned as ‘included in the price’.

Total cost based on double occupancy: 2750 Euro     Single: check availability

Closing of registration: June 20, 2024 (subject to availability) 
The meeting point will be the Hotel in Athens on September 10th , and the closing in Sofia on September 25^th.

The trip will be carried out with a minimum of 15 registrants until June 20, 2024.

Soon we will provide information about all the hotels on the trip.

The program is subject to change.

The number of participants is limited.

The program is intended for people who practice circle dance.

Registration and booking

In order to register, send  Pablo the registration  plus a first deposit of 500 Euro to book your place, before June 20th.

Second payment: 700 Euro before July 10. 

The balance is payable upon arrival. Euros cash only.

The first deposit has no refund but it can be transferable to replacement.

If the trip does not take place, the deposit will be refunded.
