Hey, this is a really neat tool. I have some suggestions. I know some SDAT files have an internal naming scheme for their sounds. Would it be possible to get the sounds named according to the internal names?

Of course, do you mean the records: "player", "group" and "player2" from Kiwi.DS specification right?

Probably the next version of Tinke will be able to show that, but you must know that in the case of the record "Group", it won't play SSEQ files (I don't plan to support them until 0.8.4 or 0.8.5 version), so you will have to extract them and use another software to convert to midi.

Regards!

Uh, I haven't seen those terms and the kiwi.ds specifications are a bit fuzzy. I just know that a few games have a table of names for sound effects just like music is named. Don' know much else about it except that it may be possible to have the true names instead of an incremental file naming scheme currently used.

Ah, the plugin does it, it shows you the real names that the SDAT file contains, the problem is that not all SDAT files have this section. If this happens (there is no table with names) then an incremental name it's showed.

Regards!
