If you have edit permissions to a shared folder, you can edit the contents of the files and folders within that folder. You can edit the files in MATLAB Online, or, if you have MATLAB Drive Connector installed, you can edit the files on your local drive. As you and other members of the folder make changes, the Connector keeps the shared folder on your local drive up-to-date.
I have a problem on my Mac OS X 10.11.5 Beta (15F31a), with MATLab R2016a (9.0.0.341360). When I install the MATLab Drive Connector from the website as matlabdrive.mlpkginstall or from the add-ons menu in MATLab itself, it works absolutely fine; it synchronises my files and displays its logo in the menu bar top-right, through which I can access its menu/settings/etc.
If you take a look at the /Library/Application Support/com.mathworks.matlabconnector folder on your computer it should contain a folder with the same name as your computer. This folder should contain three folders called locks, logs and services.
I have recently begun using matlab online (have 5gb storage) since my home system has low specs. It runs very well but uploading ".mat" files (especially large ones, small ones about 50 mb or so has no issues) to it is becoming a huge pain. I have to upload files close to 1 gb size at times but I always get a server error at the very end (always happend after the whole upload process is actually over and just about to complete). I then split the file into smaller ones but still I do get errors multiple times before being successful (largest upload by file size I have managed to get through is about 350mb so far) . I tried changing browsers, closing all other applications, disabling firewall and antivirus but none of this has helped. Has anyone faced similar issues /know what else can be tried to solve this? Looking for suggestions.
