An idea hatched in a garage in 2002 spawned a national movement of vintage inspired teardrop trailers. Today, thousands have lived life more fully because they are confident they can take to the road in uncomplicated style.
Small trailers and campers may be small in size, but there is a lot to be excited about. RV sales have been skyrocketing and the demand for small units only continues to grow. Why? There are some pretty great benefits that you may not have realized and they just may make you realize, bigger is not always better!
We went on an 11,000 mile vacation last summer. We went from AZ to Utah followed the Oregon and Mormon Trail backwards to Missouri then to Iowa to visit friends then on to Cleveland, OH to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

Entering retirement the beginning of 2017, my husband and I knew that we wanted to stay active and to travel as much as possible. Traveling, as we have done it in the past, was quite expensive. However, traveling in a small camper is relatively inexpensive. For this reason, among others, we initially embraced teardrop camping as a primary activity in retirement. We camped for five years in two teardrops and then moved to a 25 ft trailer after we got Sophie, our sweet goldendoodle.

The T@G was a wonderful camper for us and we traveled extensively in it for two and a half years. We were then ready to increase our commitment to camping with a larger model. Still wanting to limit the size, we choose the nCamp 400. My post, Replacing Our Tiny Camper, A Big Step, explains how we came to this decision.
Most of my posts are about our camping experiences, but I will also be writing about retirement. For more than thirty years, I worked full-time and really loved it. But, I had some concerns about boredom and my world getting smaller in retirement. However, we are determined to not let that happen and have great expectations for this wonderful time we are fortunate to have. There will undoubtably also be challenges and I plan to write about those as well.
Dear God, When will this nightmare end already? Seriously. If you thought the Tex and Zurg, Tex and Randall, and The Banned Monster House THX Trailers Rohan Encountered were bad enough? Well, There is one I encountered too.
It was The Little Brave Toaster DVD. The Brave Little Toaster was one of my favorite Movies I use to watch when I was young. I remember seeing it being dark for the first time, But I always had a soft spot on it. However, by looking at the DVD Cover, I was very confused at what I was looking at.
The Cover Consisted of The 5 Main Characters on the front: Toaster, Lampy, Blanky, Kirby and Radio all feeling nervous. While Tex can be seen standing next to the THX Logo in The Background, While The Caption says "The Brave Little Toaster: THX". This really got Me Confused. Why is Tex here in a Brave Little Toaster DVD? Tex was From THX and was Animated by Pixar, Not Disney. considering This movie was not THX Certified because it was released in 1987 before THX was a thing in 1996. I however shrugged it off, Because I thought it looks interesting.
My Mom told me that she will be going out to see The Bad Guys in theaters with my sister and brother. This gave me enough time to watch the Trailer and Find out what it looks like. After They Left, I opened it up, And I Notice that the dvd contain all three of the Brave little Toaster Films including The First one itself, The Brave Little Toaster To The Rescue, and The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars. I Decide to keep the three DVDs for my entire DVD collection . But I Didn't notice There was another DVD included along with the three Films. It was The Trailer itself. I took it out and put it in my DVD Player while I turned on my TV. The DVD started with the Walt Disney Home Entertainment Logo. And it took me to the main menu.
The Menu's Design looked Exactly the same as seen in the Tex and Zurg, and Randall Trailers that Rohan Encountered, Although the Toy Story and Monsters Inc Characters were replaced with The 5 Main Characters that were from The Brave Little Toaster. The Menu Options were the same thing too as they were seen in the two trailers as well. Except for The Visit Disney! Option.
"This THX Trailer was made to promote The Release of Baby's Day Out in 1994, and Later re-released for The 35th Anniversary of The Little Brave Toaster in 2022, Despite not being THX Certified and also contains Unpleasant Nature and something even darker than the film itself which are not suitable for Children." "Viewer Description is advised."
Toaster went up to Tex and said. "You Evil Red Robot had done such awful things to those people by murdering and killing them all because they were afraid of a certain logo. That is no excuse to kill somebody" She said.
"You heard what My Friend said. Killing People over a Petty reason is not right. if they were ever afraid of you and your company, just accept the fact they don't like you of just ignore them. We will report you to the authorities and have you executed if you are going to keep this up, Even Though We're just Appliances!"
"Do You guys want to see whats inside my logo?" Tex Said. "Um, What do you mean by that, Sir?" Radio asked. "Oh you'll See." Tex reminded as He opened the trap door and releasing the Two Appliances into the logo.
Kirby and Radio screamed as they fell into the conveyor belt. They were both stuck in a pile of Metal that were old car parts. The two of them tried to get out, but the pieces of metal were stuck to them.
Lampy however was not screaming in a cartoony way like I Thought, as if his actor (Timothy Stack) was actually screaming like a 20 year old Girl. But it was actually a Woman's Blood curdling Scream from Slendytubbies.
Blanky Gasped in Shocked as He uncovered his eyes. Lampy looked at the two remaining appliances to go on without him. However He Couldn't Talk due to his neck being cut by Tex's Chainsaw, All he could do is just moan and wheeze.
Then The Screaming deep note from The R-rated Version of The Tex 1 Trailer started playing. However, Unlike the Tex and Zurg Trailer, It was a mixture of Woman screams and Children cries. I could also hear the Screaming coming from various Brave Little Toaster Characters including those of Toaster, Lampy, Kirby, Radio, and Blanky's Crying being slowed down at the same speed as the deep note.
Tex saluted Me and Dropped the head of Rob. He then press the button on his chest as he flew away into the distance, once again, laughing Evilly. The THX logo stayed on screen for 3 Seconds before it faded to black.
"Holy Crap, This is even more darker than the movie itself." I was really not expecting to see my favorite film ended up in A horrifying experience by Tex. I manage to record the Trailer again, Before My mom came back with my Brother and Sister after Seeing The Bad Guys.
After 10 Minutes later, I checked the video and it had 5.8 Thousand Views. Then I looked at the comments section and saw that both Rohan and THX themselves commented on my video. Here's What they said to me.
THX Themselves: "We agree, That was a scary experience you have Tristan, We know that Rohan, Brian, MC Chase and the others encounter other lost THX Trailers made by Adam Kennington before you did. This Trailer was made Before He made The Seventh Lost Trailer as He Revenge on us After we fired him. But again, We felt so sorry for you."
Later That night, I couldn't sleep due to the trailer haunting me. I had A nightmare about Tex killing me in different ways like Taking me to Ernie's Disposal, Killing me with a Chainsaw with an electric cord attached, Sending me to The Hell Portal, and Ending up in Toaster's Nightmare as She ended up dying into the Bathtub getting electrocuted. But luckily, That was all. I wish Blanky was here trying to keep me comfortable from not having nightmares about The Trailer, However, Psycho Tex was still inside of my head, as he was still a killing machine in the inside.
Heres a lesson to everyone who might encounter this Trailer. Stay away from it and Don't watch it as you would Except Adam Kennington responsible who made this trailer. Just stick with The Brave Little Toaster films instead, as those Films will give you a soft spot around you. And I hope you will learn your lesson, once the nightmare is over. Stupid Kennington.
