AI workers can be saviours for your sanity as your farming empire expands. It allows for multiple vehicles to be travelling the map at any one time or working a lot of fields, expediting your sowing/harvesting processes. However, you'll need to be careful with your destination placements where assigned jobs. If the marker isn't placed directly on a road, or fully in a field, the AI will find it nigh-on impossible to accept the mission. This might mean re-entering the menu multiple times. Be sure to persist though, the AI workers will save you SO much time!
Whilst some purists might not like the idea, it can be highly beneficial for newer players to tweak a couple of settings to make their gameplay experience more relaxing, and less hardcore simulator. Some of the key ones are the ability to disable AI traffic, freeing up the roads for your use; another is "Crop Destruction", which means you can disable the effect where driving through your crops can destroy them. This removes at least some of the potential irritants and road bumps you can encounter on your road to farming fame.
