Below is a list of console codes for various pieces of power armor. Just enter the code, and amount you want into your console. The items will then appear in your inventory. This will only work on PC versions of, Fallout 4. Unless you have done something special to modify your game console, this will not work on XBOX or Playstation.
Hello everybody, I just wanted to let you know I updated this post a bit. I organized the information a bit better, added in codes for the X-01 power armor, and also included the information for power armor frames.
So an NPC hopped into my power armor, and I killed him, but now I cant get him out of my power armor. I was able to take the pieces off but not the frame itself. I googled a way to just spawn a new set of power armor, apparently its classified as furniture. So I spawn one with console commands, but to my dissapointment when I try to enter it says "You cannot use this at this time."
What gives exactly, why not? *scratches head* So I take the power core out of it, and then I try to get in and my character just freezes and the game bugs out. Any help with this would be appreciated.
For transparency I found the id's here. _be_the_one_protect_your_power_armor_from/ Is there anyway I can find the ID's on my own? I dont mind going back to my original power armor and getting the code and spawning it again but the last save I had it is fairly far back and I dont want to lose my progress. i know i should get other power armors again later but Id just like to spawn me another copy.
The trick to spawning power armors is that you need to be in an exterior cell on a flat surface. If you still have problems with it not allowing you to enter you should select the frame in the console and type "rotate x -1000" or whatever number you need to level it. I noticed that you found a solution for yourself but I am writting this anyway to help others that might stumble uppon the same problem.
See, the problem I'm having is that my load times are annoyingly long. It seems to take forever whether it's loadin after being killed or loading when quick traveling or just entering an interior or an exterior.
Anyway, I am at the mission where you need to track down the guy and with the radation risk. (not telling more then that to avoid even the tiniest spoilers) So I basically need a power armor to get to the location.
Just make sure your looking out directly straight so you can get in it. If you look too much up or down you spawn the armor at an angle and cant get in it. So just make a quick save first before experimenting.
well he was complaining about load times, so he'd have to travel there and buy a suit and then travel back so if he could do that he could just fast travel to his base and get his normal suit right? For me I faff about too much so I havent even found Kleo yet and Im like level 25. You could always just spawn the X-01 suit though with player.placeatme 170446. Same amount of effort really, its each only one console command. I havent got that suit though yet so Im not just going to give myself one. :p Still its an option.
i found a fix to the power armor problem. when you spawn in the armor it is usually in a weird position and unusable. the trick is to stand in front of a power armor repair station and spawn in the armor, then click on the repair station. this pulls the armor into the correct position, and you can mod it and then use it as normal.
Yesterday I found a second power armor and figured I should to try to get my follower to wear it. She was more than happy to get into the armor, but I can't seem to get her to leave the armor again. I've tried using the command dialogs and also tried holding the 'leave power armor' button (E by default on pc), but that didn't do the trick for me.Thankfully I did a quicksave before I commanded her to try put it on, so I could revert the problem, but I like the idea of us both wearing power armor.
I talked to Piper in order for her to exit the power armor that i found, but she would just start talking about friendship, and I couldn't seem to get her out. So I figured out another way method: find another power armor your companion can get in, and order them to enter that one. This will essentially make them get out of their current power armor, leaving it available for taking back. Make sure your companion doesn't get into the second power armor when you do this.
If the follower in power armor is NOT your current active follower it seems impossible to force him to leave by talking (did not try if the power core can be taken out then but I did not see the option, maybe requires sneaking). You need to make him/her follow you (dismiss your current follower) and then you can talk and ask to get out of the armor.
On PC version: I was able to have Cait exit her power armor by initiating conversation with "E", then clicked talk and then clicked "Exit power armor".The command interface is a bit inconsistent with followers on PC Platform, and I have tried multiple times to get the command to come up for exit armor. Now to add the mods, and see if I can get her back into the armor....
1 - leave them somewhere at sanctuary or red rocket where ever you want to. (just don't forget where and using a small location is wiser)Then do couple of missions or sleep for +/-48h and she will get out of the suit by herself if there were damaged part she should have them on her just trade and take them back. She is going to dump the suit anywhere found mine on roofs hidden in bushes but it will be within building limits of workshop thats why I said smaller location is wiser.
2 - Do couple of missions with her to get your relationship status to the highest level then you should be able to ask her to leave the suit when you talk to her. Found this tactic to work with all companions.
Approach the NPC you want to get out of the power armor by walking up to them. Open console with ; and left mouse click the NPC. Type callfunction "actor.switchtopowerarmor" in the console and hit return. Close console by typing `.
Command your companion, then talk, then hit A for exit power armour. I saw above something about enemy power armour. You can only take the add ons from the power armour frame. Not the frame itself. Oh and be warned not to use your best power armour.... Piper decided to exit out of hers somewhere in game and by the time I realised, I had no idea where it was.
There are a few methods you can try to make someone exit their power armor in Fallout 4. Please note that these methods may not work for all NPCs, as some may be scripted to always remain in their power armor. Here are some options you can consider:
Dialogue Option: If the NPC is a companion, you can initiate a conversation with them and look for the "Exit Power Armor" option at the bottom of the dialogue menu. This option allows you to ask them to exit their power armor [1].
Relationship Status: If your relationship status with a companion is still low, you may not be able to get them out of their power armor. To increase your relationship status, you can try leaving them at a location like Sanctuary or Red Rocket and then completing a few missions or sleeping for approximately 48 hours. After that, they may exit the power armor on their own. If there were any damaged parts, they should have them in their inventory, so you can trade with them to retrieve those parts [2].
Console Commands: If you are playing on PC and are comfortable using console commands, you can force an NPC to exit or enter power armor. To force an NPC to exit power armor, open the console, select the NPC's RefID, and type "CallFunction "Actor.SwitchToPowerArmor" None". This command will make the NPC exit their power armor. To force an NPC to enter power armor, you need to know the RefID of the power armor frame. Select the power armor frame's RefID, then select the NPC's RefID, and type "CallFunction "Actor.SwitchToPowerArmor" ". This command will make the NPC instantly wear the power armor without any animation [3].
Starfield console commands are an extremely valuable tool. These allow players to do a myriad of things that would otherwise be impossible or take a considerable amount of time. You might choose to make yourself invincible or unlock additional skill points. No matter how you want to use them, the console commands are there if you need them.
Using the console command in Starfield will disable Achievements. This is used to prevent players from being able to easily just unlock all the Achievements. However, you can circumvent this retriction by downloading mods like the Achievement Enabler mod on Nexus Mods. Please refer to the mod description on the site to see how to install it. These instructions may be updated over time, so it's best to refer to the source. Additionally, if you update Starfield you may need to re-enable this mod again.
While you can refer to the tables below for everything you need, you can also look up item IDs in-game using Starfield's console commands. This is the command you type in but you'll be replacing the brackets and what appears in them:
All item IDs in the game should be eight digits long and will be hexadecimal. If an ID starts with a zero, you can drop the zero. For example Europium is 00000570, so you should just be able to type in 570 and get the item you need.
You can use Starfield commands to add Starborn Powers and level them up. Use the player.addspell to unlock a power and then the player.addperk command to level it up. For example, unlock Anti-Gravity Field by typing player.addspell 2BACBA and then level it up by typing player.addperk 25E19C. You can add a number to the end to level it up to the specified rank (up to 10).
You can change the quality of the weapon by putting it on the ground (player.placeatme works), opening the console, selecting it to get its unique ID, and then using the code: [UniqueID].amod [QualityID]
The player.additem command is the best one to use for ammo, as it will add the items directly into your inventory. If, for some reason, you need to use the player.placeatme command (below), just know that it will place the ammo as individual bullets around you. You'll spend a lot of time picking up rounds.
