Iam stuck and I need some help. I turned off the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi radios on the BGW320. I enabled IP Passthrough on the BGW320 with DHCPS-Fixed. I manually entered the MAC address of the Orbi RBK50 Router. I changed the LAN IP address on the RBK50 to 192.168.2.1 because I thought that there could be some conflict with the BGW320. The Orbi RBK50 is in router mode. I power-cycled the BGW320 and the RBK50. I can't get the Wi-Fy to work on the RBK50. What am I missing? Thanks for your help.

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AC products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. -is-Double-NAT

-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT

Couple of options,

1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.

2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.

3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. -do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and =H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

I have a wifi Nokia WI2B-AC200i. I want to access LuCI and set up Network interface for AP .

Currently, I connected device via console (Uart) but cannot input command or access root mode.

pls show me up how to access and config!

Here is image when I access console.

Table of Hardware This is the main Table of Hardware, listing all devices that are supported by OpenWrt. ---------- Using the Table of Hardware * Sort the columns by clicking the column header * Enter your filter criteria in the white...

If you can't get uboot to react to input, then your options are: buy a programmer and directly access the flash and modify either uboot or the OS (or both) to accept input from UART, or come up with a vulnerability that you can use to access a shell on the running OS.

Hi Frollic,

As I mention on below. I able to connect device via console but cannot hit any key to login.

Maybe the block access the device via console.

Moreover, I can access SSH to device but can't enable to access privilege mode to config because not password correct.

Any somebody know default passwords?

Hi frollic,

Could you show me how to supposed to interrupt the boot loader?

I think I complete verify my USB TTL (TX, RX, GND, not connect VCC) and it work normal because I see booting information display on screen console.

When the bootloader says "Hit any key to stop autoboot", you'd normally do exactly that to interrupt it. You could also try e.g. CTRL+C or similar combinations. If none of them work, though, you would have to modify the bootloader or OpenWrt directly with a programmer.

That's a WI2A, but OP is talking about WI2B -- I am not familiar with either device, but they may not have the same specs or components. Also, those FCC-photos are fricking terrible and I can't make out the markings on any of the SOIC-8 packages -- there's a TSOP-48 NAND there, but that's not that helpful, unless OP is willing to invest in the equipment to desolder it and a NAND-programmer (which is a lot more expensive)

I'll instruct on only accessing the command line as this device has very heavily modified OpenWrt fork (QSDK), for the rest You are on Your own.

It looks as the interruption on bootloader is disabled. If Your USB-UART adapter is properly attached:

Dear tmn505,

I tried interrupt booth through entering failsafe mode when prompted by quickly typing "f" & 'Enter'.

But bootloader still continus running.

Maybe, Nokia setup disable interruption on bootloader on their device.

I am finding ssh account because I check it open port SSH

Note that if you do this, you might need to have a computer connected directly to the Gateway with an ethernet cable in order to access the admin page to make setting changes if connecting via your router fails to get you to the admin page. Or you have issues with your router getting a connection.

Well, it looks like some folks are able to disable WiFI and some other not. Perhaps this might be that some units are in different Firmware that others. I am the one that I am NOT able to turn WiFi OFF! and my Software Version in my T-Mobile can is: 1.2101.00.1609. If you can turn it OFF please let us know what is your Software Version.

I am having trouble with the wired connection not knowing my real location. That means without going through the wifi I get incorrect time, weather and any localized information. I think Tmobile knows this is the case. Be careful making a wired commitment to this box. If some body knows how to fix this please post it. My wired mesh has no idea where it is and changes location every time the T Mobile dice is powered off and back on.

Yes, I have this problem as well. My previous Nokia device managed to receive wireless in the weaker parts of our house, but not anymore. I've not checked the signal strength, but I'm almost continuously using 4G in certains parts of the house whereas with the previous phone this was not the case.

yes, I seem to be having wifi problems with android auto. I had to switch to 2.4 ghz, that may have improved the situation, but its not an optimal solution. I still possibly have problems with the wifi signal even on 2.4, I will have to verify

It keeps disconnecting, it's absurd, I can't surf the internet or even chat smoothly because I have to go to the settings. The same problem exists also for the cellular signal which is very weak and I have to go and send messages near the window if I'm indoors. It's ridiculous, an incredible and unexpected disappointment from Nokia.
