Need to register to vote or update your address? It's easy at GoVoteTN.gov. Any U.S. citizen with a driver license or photo ID issued by the TN Department of Safety and Homeland Security is eligible. Registering to vote or updating your address is fast and secure. And you'll be ready to vote in the next election!

The Administrator of elections is appointed by the Election Commission and is responsible for organizing all matters related to local elections in the county, including voter and candidate registration, conducting the elections, and tallying the vote.

If you would like to register using a paper voter registration application, you can pick one up at your county elections office, library, Department of Motor Vehicles offices, or U.S. post office. It is important that your voter registration application be filled out completely and be postmarked or hand-delivered to your county elections office at least 15 days before the election.

As a California voter, be aware that local elections in some areas are held on dates that do not coincide with statewide election dates. The 15-day close of registration deadline for these local elections varies depending on the actual date of the election. If you need to know a deadline for a local election, contact your county elections office or visit County Administered Elections.

The California Motor Voter program is making registering to vote at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) more convenient. Eligible applicants completing a driver license, identification (ID) card or change of address transaction online, by mail or in person at the DMV will be automatically registered to vote by the California Secretary of State, unless they choose to opt out of automatic voter registration. If you are currently registered to vote in California and would like to cancel your voter registration, you can complete the California Voter Registration Cancellation Request Form (PDF) and submit it to your county elections office. If you have any questions, you can contact your county elections office or the Secretary of State's Voter Hotline at (800) 345-VOTE (8683).

The Warden is the Chief Election Officer at the polling place with responsibility for supervising and monitoring the work of the other election officers. The Warden maintains order, prevents interference with the voting process, insures that all required materials are available, assists voters, and oversees the accurate completion of all election forms.

The Cambridge Election Commission adopted the following policy to regulate activities at polling places on Election Day. Under this policy, any group wishing to conduct an activity must first obtain the permission of the building owner or authorized representative in writing. If such request is approved, it must then be forwarded to the Election Commission for review no later than (5) business days prior to the election.

A photo ID is required to receive a ballot in all Wisconsin elections. This law applies to voters at polling places and most absentee voters. For more information, visit Bring It to the Ballot.

You can obtain a free State of Wisconsin ID card or document that can be used for voting, even without a birth certificate or other documentation. The document is valid for 60 days. Information is available at the WI DMV or call (844) 588-1069.

In order to participate in an election, a qualified voter must be properly registered no later than thirty (30) days before the election. The election commission office will process any by-mail voter registration form that has been postmarked at least thirty (30) days before the election. T.C.A 2-2-109.

Please note: The deadline to register to vote also applies to updating your voter registration address. Generally the deadline for registration is three weeks before a general election and shorter for special elections to fill vacancies. If your address change is not submitted to the office of the general registrar by the applicable deadline for the election in which you wish to vote, you may not be able to vote. Please notify the general registrar of address changes promptly.

Failure to complete the form properly could result in your registration being delayed or denied. Note that you must provide your Social Security number, if any, when applying to register to vote in Virginia. Therefore, if you do not provide your Social Security number, your application for voter registration will be denied. State and local voting officials will use your Social Security number as a unique identifier to insure that no person is registered in more than one place. Records containing your Social Security number will not be open to inspection by the public. Your Social Security number will appear on reports produced only for official use by voter registration and election officials, and for jury selection purposes by courts.

The State Board of Elections has approved 100 student and employee identification cards across the state for use in the 2023 municipal elections and 2024 primary and general elections in North Carolina.

The Election Commissioner's Office is responsible for maintaining the Sarpy County Voter Registration Database, for accepting certain candidate filing forms, and for conducting elections in Sarpy County.

The Madison County Election Commission is located in Jackson, Tenn. We are responsible for the conduct of all elections held within Madison County, including those for the cities of Jackson, Medon and Three Way. The Bexar County Elections Department is responsible for voter registration activities and election operations throughout Bexar County. This includes 712 voting precincts in Bexar County, 53 political subdivisions, 20 Independent School Districts, 29 Cities, 4 Military Installations (Lackland AFB, Ft. Sam Houston, Brooks City-Base, and Randolph AFB) and over 959,439 registered voters.

To vote in Texas, you must be registered with your county. To register with Bexar County, verify your eligibility. Then simply pick up a voter registration application, fill it out completely and legibly, and return it to the Voter Registration Office at least 30 days before the election date.

Did you know you can schedule an appointment to obtain an Election Identification Certificate (EIC) at your local Driver License office? If you currently hold a Texas Driver License (DL) or Identification (ID) card, these are valid forms of ID for purposes of voting, and you do not need an EIC.

If you do not have one of the six acceptable forms of photo ID, the State of Georgia offers a free ID card. An ID card can be issued at any county registrar's office or Department of Driver Services Office, free of charge.

If you do not have one, include the number from your state-issued identification card, which you can get for free at any office of the Department of Driver Services or your county voter registration office.

Voters wanting to cast an Absentee ballot may contact the Election Department at 781-286-8200 to request an absentee ballot application be sent to them by U.S. Mail. Any form of written request signed and dated by the voter is acceptable to request an absentee ballot. Requests may be sent by facsimile machine to 781-286-8206, by U.S. Mail to Revere City Hall, Election Department, P.O. Box 246, Revere, MA 02151 or by email. Please include a telephone number on your request in the event we need to contact you. The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot by mail is 5:00 p.m. on the 4th business day prior to the election. The deadline to vote by absentee ballot in person, in the Election department, is noon the day before each Election.

Any voter who does not respond to the annual street listing by the first Monday in June is made inactive and must be sent a confirmation card as required by the National Voter Registration Act. The voters response to the confirmation card allows the Election Department to update their census information and to process any changes specified on the card. Voters that do not return the confirmation card before August 1 are required to complete an Affirmation of Current and Continuous Residence and provide identification on Election Day.
