I'm running Cyanogen CM12 with Android 5.0x on a OnePlus One that is Rooted. My gamepad is a clone PS3 controller with USB and bluetooth support. USB OTG, Root access, etc all work and are confirmed.
So what happens is that Tincore Keymapper detects my gamepad correct and even reads it fine. During the mapping screen I can hold and press the buttons or sticks to show them and to move them around the screen and finally save a new profile. Activating said profile does not do anything at all. I am testing but putting the buttons on icons on my homescreen and seeing if they will open up. I have tried changing my input method in the Android settings menu to TinCore but that just opens up a Web keyboard that I can move around in with my gamepad which is weird.
During my setting of profiles, it gives me the "Tincore Keymapper IME is needed, Please enable it in the setup screen and set as default input method". But I thought I did that?
I'm frustrated because the controller works. I can move around in the web shaped Tincore Keymapper QWERT type on-screen keyboard and make typing text and have it detect what keys I am pressing but nothing is actually working in the real OS? Help?
Thank you!
