Hello,

I have an iPega 9028 gamepad and am using it in a non-gamepad game. everything works as configured, but the game also has an internal chat. When I now click on the chat window it doesn't show me the onscreen keyboard to type a message. Is there any setting to have the onscreen keyboard enabled when the gamepad keys are remapped?

Regards,

Lukas

The FC30 and NES30 controllers, and the tincore keyboard (in non ime mode) do the same thing.
I believe tincore would have to add a new 'execute function' which would send the 'physical keyboard hidden' signal to the operating system.

Will have to investigate that.

In principle virtual keyboard may hide if you already have a full keyboard connected.

It would be possible that Ipega9028 depending on connection mode shows to the system as full keyboard.

On Android settings you can select your default keyboard. (physical or virtual)

Just had a go at it.
It seems that by going to the language and input from the notification, there's no button to set the default. The only place where default is written is below the physical keyboard and represents the layout.

But by going through the settings menu, I do see the default option, and inside there's a way to disable the physical keyboard.
That fixed the problem.

Cheers
