As we gear up for Summer Internships i.e. our First Corporate Engagement as Management Students, all of us are well aware of the gap existing between the academia and the corporates’ application of concepts. It is all the more important, in the extremely competitive environment, for us to understand the Industry’s expectations and the way they apply academic concepts and bridge the gap between the competencies required.
Also, we know that during our Summer Internships, we shall be absolutely free on Sundays.
So with this perspective, we have arranged Workshops on Excel for Managers and Financial Modeling during Summers so that it would provide us the right platform to prepare ourselves as per the needs of the Industry and develop the much required competency to provide the Competitive Edge.
Summer Mega Workshop Details:
- May & June - Only Sundays batch - 2pm to 7pm
- Excel for Manager Workshop - 3 Sessions of 5hrs each (5th May, 12th May and 26th May, 2013)
- Financial Modeling Workshop - 2 Sessions of 5hrs each (2nd June and 9th June, 2013)
- Excel - Rs. 1000/- per student

Combo offer (Excel + Financial Modeling) - Rs. 2100/- per student
- Registrations of only Financial Modeling is not allowed as Excel training is a prerequisite for Financial Modeling.

Why a Student must learn Excel?
- Corporates feel that a proper understanding of an Analytical tool like Excel helps in better Conceptualization of Business Problems and helps one to provide better solutions to companies
- Corporates also believe that they will Save a lot of time, cost and energy if new recruits are well versed with Excel
- In an online B-School Survey we found that only 15% of the students were confident about Excel Skills
