Hi everyone,
The Indigenous Flora and Fauna Association is bunch
of people keen on conserving and studying our local flora and
fauna.
They run excursions and often hold interesting
seminars and talks - see below. Their publication Indigenotes has made a
comeback and now sports great colour photos.
Attached is a flier to their next event on
climate change.

Attached is a flyer about an
upcoming talk about climate change put on by the Indigenous Flora and Fauna
Association.
IFFA is an association with an interest in conserving
our local flora and fauna. Its 200 members include interested
individuals, volunteers, groups and professionals in the environmental
restoration field in Victoria, mainly in the
Melbourne area.
It currently conducts three main activities;
- It
publishes a quarterly newsletter, on a range of flora and fauna related topics
- It
conducts activites for members that foster interests in specific projects,
themes and that encourage networking. Recent examples include tours of
Indigenous nursery, sanctuarys and zoo gardening.
- It
maintains a website with a range of pages including ones on indigenous
nurseries, forums on indigeous gardens and ‘Wiki’ encyclopedia on indigenous
flora and fauna
