Darebin Safe Climate Forum

Darebin Climate Action Now’s Safe Climate Forum provides an opportunity to hear the latest climate science from co-author of Climate Code Red David Spratt. His talk will include recent impacts of climate change particularly on the Himalayan area. Hear about current international goals and what is really necessary to ensure a safe climate for our children and grandchildren. The technological solutions available today will be explained and illustrated by Al Gore trained speaker and engineer Tim Forcey. Comedian Rod Quantock - fresh from his recent show on climate change Bugger the Polar Bears - will add a knowledgeable yet humorous addition to the evening.

Mayor of Darebin Diana Asmar will open the event. Information stalls will be provided by Darebin Community Power, Darebin Transition Towns, CERES and supporter of the event - the Environment Shop. The forum will take place at the Darebin Arts & Entertainment Centre, Bell St, Preston at 7:15pm on Thursday September 17 (See flyer attached).
