Hi,

I would like to report a bug easily reproductable.

1) create a clock (add clock)

2) update the clock to start at -500 (for another business related to another signl...)

3) the pattern at the end of the diagrams is wrong (clock is 0 instead of a clock)

Hi Fred,

Why would you want to use a negative start delay?   As it stands now,  only positive start delays are supported.

Thanks, Dan

Ok, I realize myself that it was not "fair" doing like that.

But it appears to be the same with a more "classical" solution.
1) I add a clock( the default one)
2) to select a zone, I put the "start time" at 300
3) I add another clock (default one with changed name)

Like just before the end is messed up...

It works for me.  See below.

Inline image 1

Can you save it and send me the .tim file.

Thanks,
Dan

You'll find attached the .tim file.

When I create the 2 clocks, it looks like "AfterCreationAndSave.jpg" => 1 clock correct, the other not
Then I close the tool and reopen it, the diagram looks like "AfterReopening.jpg" => 2 clocks are not correct at the end

Hope it helps

Fred

The start time is done with : EDIT => START TIME

Process is:
1) create a default clock
2) edit start time 300
3) create another default clock

The 2 pictures above were done with this process. So The clock display change before closing the tool and after reopening the tim file.

Thanks for the feedback. I will fix soon and let you know when a new version is ready.

Hi Fred,

I created a new version and quickly checked the clock start delay and diagram start time changes work as expected.
Could you please test it when you get a chance and let me know if you have any issues.

Hi Fred,

I just saw this message.  Sorry.  Google groups somehow marked it as spam but allowed me to approve it for the group. I agree with your suggestion and will fix it so that the desired phase can be used.

Thanks for your feedback,
Dan

1) Now if I create 2 clocks and modify the "start time", this is ok.

For example, with the second clock, if I update the "start delay" to adjust the phase between signals or clocks:
   - with a positive value, the start state is given by H or L in "start state" . But is it possible to only adjust the phase ? (new start state = clock for example  )

Now, with a clock we have (with start delay = 500 and start state = H):
500 of state H and then the clock

It could be interesting to have another choice (start delay = 500 and start state = clock)
Then the clock is only shifted of time 500 (to adjust a desired phase)

Fred
