Hey Dan!  I hope you are well.

I can't seem to add TimeWarp on this most recent version.  I'm just starting to use the program again so maybe I'm doing something wrong... but it looks like there might be an exception spit out to the command line when I try.

Hi Brad,

I'm good.    Thanks.

Nice hearing from you.   I hope you are well too.

It seems to work for me.   You select the 2 edges,  then add the TimeWarp.
Is this what you did?

Could you send me the error and the .tim file you are working with if you still can't get it to work.

Thanks, Dan

Duh!  Thanks.  I hadn't selected the two edges.  Getting back into it!

Can you add a timewarp to a bus and how can you do it via script? I was able to select 2 clock edges by gui and do it but it doesn't seem you can grab two bus edges.

I was able to add a TimeWarp using 2 bus edges.    Can you provide an example that isn't working for you?
Also, I can add a python method ( add_timewarp ) in a future version.

So, how do you specify 2 edges using scripts. Maybe it doesn't work on the Mac. Let me try it on a windows machine via the gui.

Hi Salman,

It works on the Mac.   Look at the example scripts and script documentation to see how to work with edges.
If you can send me your example,  I'll take a look at it.

Thanks,
Dan

Okay, i got it to work in the gui. How does one add a count state like this first signal, labeled energy angle step.

Hi Salman,

Click in the bus during each clock cycle and the bus value will increment automatically by the amount specified in the toolbar.
Or you can add a counter.   Add Menu -> Logic -> Binary Counter.  This is a one time static add so you can not modify the counter parameters once it's added.  If you need to change the counter,   delete the old one and then add it back again with the corrected parameters.  In a future version you will be able to edit the logic part parameters.

Hope this helps.
Dan
