I'm now migrating to Yosemite (10.10.1) on a new MacPro and tried to use Timeslice. I've entered my serial number and downloaded and installed the 4.6.2 software, and got the message that the installation was successful. When I click on the application, it seems to open - I get the Timeslice menu bar at the top of my screen. But I can't start any time record. The menu New Time Record has both options greyed out.
Are you sure you have a time-tracking window open? Not the Control Panel window, but a time-tracking window available from the TimeSlice Control Panel (Windows tab). You can’t track time until you have a time-tracking window open.

The Timeslice Tech Support google group page says "If you did not find an answer, please post it to this group." But there is no place on the page to post a question to the group. I looked at the bottom of one of the postings and noticed that "to post to this group, send an email to ...". I cut and pasted the address and sent an email to it - only to find that the email bounced, and I got a message from Google saying I don't have permission to post to this group! Help!
You need to be a member of the group before you can post to the group. I just sent you an invite.
Thanks,
Bill
