What a terrible tragedy in Glasgow Fiona. I believe a police helicopter crashed straight down in to the Clutha pub in Stockwell and that several people were killed. They are still trying to reach
the many people who are still trapped inside. A Friday night in a popular pub in Glasgow means that the pub would have been packed. Thoughts are with them all.

It sounds awful. We had just returned from a lovely evening ut and heard the news breaking as we drove in the drive. How such a normal Friday night can change for so many damilies in Glasgow. Lot sof questions to be abswered still. Thinking of Glasgow.

It is shocking Jeannie.  I was talking to a girl I know this afternoon, and she was on her way to meet friends there when the accident happened - a narrow escape for them.  It seems the pilot acted heroically as that pub is surrounded by residential flats and a hotel - goodness knows how many would have been killed if it had hit them, or indeed if he hadn't turned off the engines and there had been an explosion and a fire.  Very proud to be a Glaswegian when I read of how people were fearlessly going back into the building to rescue others.

Thanks for letting me know on FB that you were safe Fiona. I first thought of you. Then my niece, but really thought she would be in Edinburgh or Dunoon, but you never know. X
A very tragic day.

I am just trying to send this as I have never managed it before! I bought this with the 20% off offer in M&S and it is beautifully warm. By the way, no, the female is NOT me!

It look lovely Jeannie.  Just the thing for chilly days North of he Border.  Having said that, I think we are going to suffer here too. It looks kind of Nordic which reminds me of some of the ski jumpers I used to have.  But this is much more fashionable!!

I was busy and did not follow up the 20% off email which I received from M and S.  If I had looked at the website, I think I would have been tempted with this too!!

M and S produce some lovely stuff, in spite of the fact that journalists find it an easy topic to criticise them.
I bought a Per Una fur fabric coat recently. 50% off at the Outlet site and a further 15% with a Privelige discount day.  Total cost £49.  I was stopped in town three times on saturday by people who wanted to say how stunning it was.  I have not seen it on the website (before its appearance at Outlet) so I cannot post a link up.  If we THC-ers are shopping there, it must be a good place!!

Love it Jeannie, it's fabulous... Would like that myself. Bet it cost though.
How did to upload it? Give us a clue

Carol, I've never sussed out how to upload from a site, then I happened to see the little arrow at the top of the screen! When I touched it, it asked whether I wanted to open in Safari, share via e.mail or copy - so I touched the share by e.mail and I am so pleased it worked!
It was £60 but minus 20% in the sale and is beautifully snug and warm.
