Hope everything is OK with all. My apologies for not being in the family reunion as I was in Kagyu Monlam where I met Summer and her mother as well. I know that Lai har was in Retreat as well and if any of you attended the family reunion, please share your expereinces with the group.

 

For two consecutive weekends I was in Johor and will be in Peng in June1st weekend before leaving for China. Its a shame not to be able to meet all of you after our retreat with HE Yongyur Rinpoche. However, if you like we could meet at HE Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche's program as listed below. A[pologies for the last minute announcement . He speaks good English and is direct, clear and concise. He is also very punctual and usually finishes the session within about 1.5 hours.

 

One of Rinpoche's reincarnations was the 8th Karmapa's Teacher and during that time, he had a staut that could float,fly ( I need to get the right story 1st). This Rinpoche teaches pure dharma and his message is that it is more important to change one's bad habits than to just chant. That's right, my bad habit is always no time,,,, I'll be having a meeting today soon and need to get going but I have forgotten to email you regarding this Amazing Teacher. So Hopefully this little effort of mine does not go wasted.

Make the time, come and listen and see this Wonderful Great Master!

Hello Chin Tee,

Thanks for sharing your email. I got attend the family reunion. Our group only Edwin and me. hehehe.  Not many people attend, but the reunion was good and I can see Ani Yeshe and the volunteers putting effort to make the meeting success. As promised, Ani Yeshe give us a gift. It's an ipod. :Þ I think better than an ipod. The 'ipod' recorded 4 mantras sung by Ven Mingyur Rinpoche. Nowadays, most of the time, when I drive, I will on the ipod and listen to the chant. 

As I know the next meting will be on 4 Jun, but not sure if it's confirm. I am still waiting for the email to confirm. Supposed previous meeting Ani Yeshe let us to see the video that she recorded in Hong Kong on Mingyur Rinpoche before he when for 3 years retreat, but technical problem. She promised us to show it on the next meeting. So I'm looking forward for the next reunion meeting. 

For those who want to join for the next meeting, please read the 'joy of living' (page 46-58) and joyful wisdom (page 7-15).

Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you are able to attend and get the special i-pod. Many of us had prior commitment that cannot be changed. Personally I can only attend after my trip in China which is in July. I look forward to meeting you again. Cheers
