to Time for Community
Hello all,

Here is the talk I mentioned briefly a few months ago.  I'm excited to hear what Dan will have to say, and I hope to see many of you there!  I will also be promoting this talk to the larger community, and I hope we can draw in some new folks to the TFC meetings with this event.  Below is the announcement.

My friend Dan Stanton (see bio/credentials below) has agreed to give a free talk to share his "self-developed" methods for learning about whatever topic(s) or interests you are passionate about, so that you can become more personally fulfilled, more financially abundant, and more effectively engaged with the larger community to make whatever changes
you see the world needing.

Dan writes:

With our local and global economies in flux, I feel called to create a conversation about learning, personal interests, and how we create community.  The problems we face are complex, and require new ways of thinking. If we are going to succeed in the 21st century, we must employ our multiple intelligences and all of our senses.

I invite anyone with a clear focus on a personal area of interest – any interest – to join me for an interactive presentation where I will share a set of tools I have developed to help you become your own “expert in the field” of that interest.  As you learn to pursue knowledge in your area of interest, you will find greater personal fulfillment, opportunities for financial growth, and the ability to make contributions to the greater community.

The free presentation will take place at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, November 17, at the seating upstairs from the Purest Café at 115 SW Ash St.  The café owner has graciously donated the space.  He asks that no outside food or drink be brought in, but the café (which serves Japanese crepes) will remain open for business until 7:00, so feel free to grab some dinner or a cup of coffee or tea there.

Dan will be sharing handouts, so please RSVP to me (marens...@mindspring.com) if you definitely, or possibly, plan to attend so that he knows how many to print.
