This month on Timberline Trails, we have added a new page featuring the trail to the top of Yosemite Falls. It is one of the classic hikes in Yosemite National Park (which is located in the US State of California) and it takes the hiker from the valley floor to the top of the falls with an elevation gain of over 2,500 feet! Yosemite Falls is made up of three separate cascades for a total drop of 2,425 feet. It has the second highest clear drop (1,430 feet) in the United States just behind Yosemite's Ribbon Falls (1,630 feet).
