After serving in the Royal Air Force, he moved to London and worked as a lettering and general artist in print studios which produced artwork for major advertising agencies. Released in 1996, ITC Viner Hand has a relaxed rhythm typical of handwriting and lends a personal touch to computer generated copy.

Can I get a hand on how this thing is supposed to operate when presented with a font that has a name consisting of multiple words? I know that in case of Times New Roman you can simply name it 'times' and it works, but 'viner' doesn't :/ That being said I'm positive there must be some way for this to work, because curiously enough ttk.Style accepts it.
The Maiandra family of typefaces were inspired by an early example of Oswald Cooper's hand-lettering, as seen in an advertisement for a book on home furnishing, circa 1909. Although many of Oz Cooper's letterform designs were cast in metal type,...

The reason I chose as I did was not only, perhaps not even primarily, the intellectual appeal of economics. Neither was it simply the influence of Homer and Arthur, though that was important. It was at least as much the times.. . . The United States was at the bottom of the deepest depression in its history before or since. The dominant problem of the times was economics. How to get out of the depression? How to reduce unemployment? What explained the paradox of great need on the one hand and unused resources on the other? Under the circumstances, becoming an economist seemed more relevant to the burning issues of the day than becoming an applied mathematician or an actuary.2

Larsson et al. (2006) used the nrLSU and 5.8S genes for a phylogenetic analysis of Hymenochaetales and recovered Peniophoradetritica nested in a fairly well-supported clade that also included several species usually classified in Hyphodontia. This result supported the original opinion on relationships introduced by Eriksson (1958) but also showed that Hyphodontia sensu Eriksson was polyphyletic. The clade with Peniophoradetritica. recovered by Larsson et al. (2006), was later identified as Xylodon, type species X.quercinus, a genus that now covers the majority of species earlier referred to Hyphodontia (Hjortstam and Ryvarden 2009). On the other hand, Dueñas et al. (2009) studied sequences from the ITS region and concluded that molecular information supported recognition of the separate genus Lagarobasidium. These same ITS sequences have been used by several subsequent researchers, who therefore maintained Lagarobasidium separate from Hyphodontia sensu lato (Yurchenko and Wu 2014, Riebesehl et al. 2015, Chen et al. 2016, Chen et al. 2017, Kan et al. 2017, Riebesehl and Langer 2017, Yurchenko et al. 2017, Chen et al. 2018).
