Iam trying to use offline activation to activate MS office 2016 Professional Plus on a dell laptop via KMS.bat file that calls another file. The KMS server (Windows Server 2016 Version 1607 OS build 14393.447) is setup properly (though not connected to the Internet) with a licensed KMS license of Office16KMSHostvL_KMS_Host_Edition and I can ping the server from the tablet connected over a switch. DNS lookup on the tablet shows me the IP address of the KMS server. The script errors out: 0xC004F017 Software Licensing Service reported license is not installed Can someone give me verification commands to isolate the problem?

En Enero de 2017, como ya se conoce, no es posible realizar la activacin telefnica de Office 2013 y solo se puede realizar por internet y a nosotros nos produca un error, en la siguiente entrada tenemos: Solucin Error 0xC004F017

Por unos problemas derivados de las ltimas actualizaciones de Microsoft con Office, en una mquina que tena instalado Windows 10 Profesional con Office 2013 Profesional y Office 2016 Profesional, nos encontramos que el programa de contabilidad haba dejado de funcionar su exportacin a Excel.

Esto ya nos haba sucedido en el pasado. El fabricante del programa de contabilidad, dice que es compatible con Office 2016, pero la realidad es que no lo es, ya que, entre otras cosas, la ruta de instalacin es totalmente diferente en ambas versiones:

Para solucionarlo habamos tenido que instalar el Excel 2013 y el Office 2016 completo en la mquina. El tema es que ahora no se dejaba activar el Office 2013 y nos apareca un mensaje de error: 0xC004F017.

Despus de buscar por internet y no encontrar nada til por ese cdigo (error 0xC004F017), decidimos buscar por problemas de activacin en diferentes foros, lemos todo tipo de soluciones con activadores, borrado de claves en el registro, pero no era lo que necesitbamos, puesto que las licencias que tenamos son originales y los mtodos que nos encontrbamos la mayora de ellos no utilizaban claves originales.

El error 0xC004F017 se puede producir por tener instalados en la misma mquina el Office 2013 y 2016 Office, y haber instalado el 2013, despus de 2016. Entonces el programa activador de las licencias se hace un lo con los diferentes nmeros de serie. No nos estaba pidiendo el nmero de serie de Office 2013 que tenamos y que es diferente al de 2016, pero esta cogiendo por defecto el numero de serie de 2016. Es decir, al realizar la instalacin de Office 2013 no peda numero de serie.

La solucin al Error 0xC004F017, fue introducir de nuevo el DVD / montar la imagen ISO, volverlo a ejecutar y entonces te aparece una nueva opcin en men de arranque que es: Introducir /Cambiar el numero de serie. Elegimos esta opcin, metemos nuestro numero de serie (Office 2013), y entonces nos aparece el wizard de activacin completo, pulsamos en Activar a travs de Internet, y se activa el Office 2013.
