You can use Prezi Desktop to create 'prezis' (PowerPoint presentations) on your computer without an internet connection. You can save the presentations on your computer or upload them to Prezi.com if you want to work on them or share them online.

I like non-linear presentation software like prezi. The problem with Prezi is it is not open source and not a desktop client (For linux). You will say use Libra-Office Impress but it is linear and I hate that. If there isn't any non-linear presentation software for linux like Prezi Desktop, than is there a plugin that make Libra-Office Impress like it or Apache OpenOffice? I want a desktop client, and not a web-base app!

My recommendation would be to point the web object to your online prezi, publish your presentation and upload it to a web server, then see how the web object behaves. The only thing I can't see this working for would be CD-rom delivery...

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Aactually the online prezi works well with any html page but it's stored in prezi's website. I hv a personal presentation I hv uploaded to my website -created as offline prezi. This offline prezi contains flash exe and other xml codes. But there is no swf. Therefore I don't know how to embed my

When you download portable prezi, you unzip it and you will find Prezi.app/content/Prezi.exe. Delete Prezi.app & Prezi.exe. You are left with content folder. Open it and you will see many files including data folder. You can delete Prezi.exe again at this level. Paste in index.html and Prezi.swf here (downloaded from -Prezi-Integrations/799-how-to-embed-prezi-in-articulate-storyline). Rename this content folder to whatever you like and point to it from articulate storyline/insert a web object. It will then work in published storyline.

But what truly sets Genially apart is its commitment to interactivity. With features that allow you to add hotspots, pop-up windows, hover-over labels, and even interactive data visualizations, your audience won't just view your presentation; they'll experience it.

Prezi is a web-based tool for creating presentations (called prezis for short). It's similar to other presentation software like Microsoft PowerPoint, but it offers some unique features that make it a good alternative. In recent years, it has become popular in schools and businesses. If you're looking to create a presentation that's a bit more eye-catching and engaging, Prezi may be for you.

This concept is much easier to describe with a visual aid, so we've embedded a sample prezi below. Simply select Start Prezi, then use the arrows at the bottom to navigate through the presentation.

You might be wondering what makes Prezi different from other presentation software, like PowerPoint or Keynote. For one thing, Prezi is completely free to use. There are upgrades you can pay for to unlock additional features, but everything you need to create and share a dynamic prezi is available free of cost.

Another great reason to use Prezi is that it is run entirely through your web browser, meaning there will be fewer compatibility issues than with other programs like PowerPoint. Your prezi will always look the same, no matter what computer you're viewing it on.

Because of its unique presentation style, Prezi can use movement and metaphor to help communicate a point you're trying to make. If you want your audience to really feel a sense of space and distance between locations, you could use a map template, like in the prezi below.

Hi and thank you for the answer.
The slides are mine and I copied their address to wordpress page. But once clicked (to be opened in a new tab), the address is shortened to prezi.com instead of full address of the certain slides.
