The demo gets a less spectacular episode image, just the level at a high angle with some editing. The final obviously gets properly drawn artwork.
The final starts with a panning of the level with narration from Stan Lee. The demo merely starts when Spider-Man climbs up the building, uttering "just another day in the life of your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man!" which I believe is used in a later stage in the final.

I'm terrible at geography, but this image suggests the buildings were repositioned and retextured for the final. How about that!
Black Cat was changed a lot for the final; you can't see it too clearly, but the demo Black Cat has her typical eye mask (which you can see in the demo title screen), while the final has it strangely absent; I'm no Spidey expert, but I don't recall Black Cat ever going around without her mask. She was also retextured and possibly even remodelled, changing her hair from white to a grandma grey, and de-emphasising her ribs. She also has a different voice actor in the demo. Here's just a sample.

The movie scene is the same in both versions, except for the demo lacking the Spidey logo iris-in at the beginning and end, and one voice is different.

I remember being really pissed they changed it for the final, but in retrospect I can see why: that's one very bored reading.

Fixed demo of SpiderMan The Movie Game, now game isn't killing you at start and you don't have black screen with HUD and vent sound and levels are loading correctly + fps are normal, hope you will enjoy :D

I ported some of the code from 1.3 patch to demo, hope similar thing can be done to bring
back deleted cheats that were in 1.0 (retail) version which was bugged in the same way as the demo one...

Demogoblin was originally an unnamed demon who inhabited Limbo and was banished there eons ago for unknown reasons. His essence was fused with the Hobgoblin (Jason Macendale) when Jason asked N'astirh for more power in exchange for his soul.[2] As a part of Hobgoblin, he infected Moon Knight with a demonic virus that would slowly mutate him,[3] and fought the Ghost Rider and John Blaze, eventually being defeated by Blaze's hellfire gun and Ghost Rider's mystical chain.[4] Hobgoblin quickly realized being possessed by a demon was less than beneficial, and, thanks to the effects of the hellfire and mystical chain, managed to expel his demon half, creating the Demogoblin, a darker, mystical version of the Hobgoblin persona.[5]

Once freed from the Hobgoblin, Demogoblin fought and was defeated by Spider-Man and Macendale as the Hobgoblin.[6] He then joined with the Spider-Man doppelganger and tried to kill the Hobgoblin, but they retreated under the sewer depths when opposed by Spider-Man, Venom, Ghost Rider, and Blaze.[7]

Demogoblin then confronted Moon Knight, trying to possess his body, which was ravaged by Demogoblin's bloodlink virus from the previous confrontation with the Hobgoblin. Moon Knight was saved from the virus due to the intervention of Dr. Strange and Mr. Fantastic.[8]

During the events of "Maximum Carnage", Demogoblin joined Carnage, Shriek, Carrion, and the Spider-Man doppelganger on their killing spree throughout Manhattan. He battled Spider-Man, Venom, Iron Fist, Captain America, Deathlok, Cloak and Dagger, and Firestar. He ultimately becomes repulsed by his comrades' internal feuding and decides to leave them, but he is apprehended by the collective of superheroes before he can make good on this decision.[9]

The Demogoblin is destroyed by the vampire-hunter Blade while Blade is empowered by the Darkhold,[10] but those who had been killed by Blade are restored to life when the Darkhold's spell is reversed.[11]

He is summoned to San Francisco by a horde of goblins who hold the city in their grip and intend to make Demogoblin their ruler. However, he regards the goblins as sinners of the worst sort, and so plays along with them only long enough to kill Charles Palentine, the man who had summoned the goblins to Earth, and seize from him the necklace used for the summoning. He then uses the necklace's near godlike power to kill all the goblins and destroys the necklace itself, thus saving the city.[12]

Demogoblin's physical form is killed in a showdown with Hobgoblin, who has gained greater strength than before. He dies trying to save a child from collapsing debris inside a church, where he is crushed to death.[13]

Demogoblin is a demonic being, with numerous supernatural powers granted by magic. He is endowed with superhuman strength, stamina, agility, reflexes, and resistance to injury. He has a magical ability to mentally control and levitate his one-man miniature "goblin glider" composed of hellfire and propel it at high speeds. He can project hellfire from his hands. He can also summon demons from hell that will attack anyone he instructs to be destroyed.

Demogoblin is able to mystically create "pumpkin bombs", similar to those of the Green Goblin or Hobgoblin. Orange pumpkin bombs are bombs that explode conventionally (albeit magical) as concussion and incendiary Jack O' Lanterns. Black pumpkin bombs cause their target to be overwhelmed by massive feelings of despair and helplessness. He also can create wraith-shaped smoke and gas-emitting bombs, and bat-shaped razor-edged throwing blades.

Apart from his physical and magical advantages, he is knowledgeable about military training and hand-to-hand combat absorbed from his time merged with the Hobgoblin. Although deranged, the Demogoblin is highly intelligent.

In Ultimate Marvel universe, Mary Jane Watson becomes the Demogoblin, after being kidnapped from her bedroom by a facially disfigured clone of Peter Parker who is determined to give her powers so that she is no longer in danger from his enemies. He pumps in her bloodstream an unquantified amount of OZ, the drug responsible for the creation of the Green Goblin, Hobgoblin and also Spider-Man. Upon learning this, she becomes very angry and transforms into a huge, hairy, horned red goblin-type creature.[17]

However, when the real Peter Parker and Spider-Woman show up, she calms down and resumes her original form, just in time for Peter (her ex) to render his evil clone unconscious. MJ is taken to the Fantastic Four's Baxter Building and when she wakes up, she is afraid and angry, causing another transformation, but when she spots the Peter clone who was in the building, she calms down once again and reverts to her normal self.[18] She is then given what is believed to be a cure to the effects of the OZ formula, yet the ordeal has left her badly traumatized, and she is shown to be affected by panic issues and haunted by the scarred visage of Peter's disfigured clone.[19]

When MJ later gets angry as she watches Peter talking to Kitty, his ex-girlfriend, her hand starts to tremble and her fingernails briefly become claws but she calms down when Kitty takes off in anger, indicating that her cure might not be permanent or even complete.[20] Mary Jane also daydreams a scene where she's fighting against Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four in her mutant form, defeating them one by one.[21]

In the Spider-Geddon event, in Vault of Spiders #2, on Earth-11580, a version of Demogoblin is seen alongside Green Goblin, Hobgoblin and Jack O'Lantern during the Goblin Night. Under the orders of the Goblin Queen, they try to kill Gwen Stacy, but Spiders-Man arrives and defeats the Goblins.[22]

The Unbreakable Gumball is an open-world, sandbox superhero game leveraging the power of virtual reality to make you really feel like a hero. The game takes place in the 22nd century, in Elysia, a city-state suspended over the Atlantic ocean with buildings both above and below its surface. Put an end to crime in the city, put villains behind bars, and save people in need as The Unbreakable Gumball!

Whenever I try to play on My Oculus Quest, none of the key bindings are working and I'm stuck in the start screen. Any recommendations? Im using a USB cord to connect my quest to the PC and every other game i've played has worked fine.

Any plans to bring an updated demo to steam or itch.io? With the recent spiderman craze, increase in headset users, and tik tok, i feel like this game could blow up with a demo before any real release. project demigod did and the swinging there is far inferior

The latest development update stated it was NEARLY done, so if anything, I beg of you to release that build for the time being. I will pay you a fair sum of money to make that happen I do not care, the urge to play a proper VR swinging game outweighs the cost. If you want to name a price then my email is josephc...@gmail.com

Dear Maxalo. I downloaded the Pre-Alpha Demo 1.6 to see if it's a game i can "stomach" or not :-)

I can start the game alright, the hands show but am not able to activate any of the options, skip/start buttons etc. Trying to set bindings in SteamVR is more challenging than programming a VCR clock.

Woah, there are so many comments now. When did this game get more exposure? So happy so see it thriving! I know yall are hard at work on the game but I think it would be smart to start adapting the game or a small demo to the quest 2! This is a game that sells itself when you play it, so people have to be able to try it; and the quest 2 covers over half of the current VR market!

After losing fights with Spider-Man and the Green Goblin, Jason Philip Macendale Jr., aka the Hobgoblin, took advantage of the Inferno crisis by following several demons back to their lair and confronting their demonic lord, N'astirh. Macendale wanted enough power to defeat his enemies, and offered his soul to N'astirh in exchange for such power. When N'astirh stopped laughing, the demon lord decided that Macendale's effrontery was worth something even if his soul wasn't, and had him possessed.[9]
