Support for Microsoft Visual Basic for Application (VBA) 7.1
Starting with AutoCAD 2014, VBA 6.5 was replaced by VBA 7.1 which was designed for both Windows 32- and 64-bit operating systems. As a result of this change, the AutoCAD ActiveX library was updated to remove methods and properties that were originally defined to support Windows 64-bit. VBA projects that rely on the use of 32-bit libraries and controls will need to be updated to properly run on AutoCAD 64-bit.
The STM32 is a family of microcontroller ICs based on various 32-bit RISC ARM Cortex-M cores.[1] STMicroelectronics licenses the ARM Processor IP from ARM Holdings. The ARM core designs have numerous configurable options, and ST chooses the individual configuration to use for each design. ST attaches its own peripherals to the core before converting the design into a silicon die. The following tables summarize the STM32 microcontroller families.
The control system, previously designed, has been implemented thanks to a methodology based on hardware and software tools of rapid control prototyping (RCP). This control system has been developed by Carlos III University of Madrid [31], and it is based on a very powerful and affordable 32-bit microcontroller: STM32F4, by STMicroelectronics, previously presented. The embedded system is responsible for total control, data acquisition, and processing for the designed actuators. Usually, a RCP system provides a higher level of abstraction than other methods thanks to the usage of graphical programming languages. In this case, the graphical programming language to develop an embedded controller is MATLAB/Simulink. Thanks to UC3M-RCP, the code can be generated, compiled, and loaded on the microcontroller in a completely automatic way for the user.
