tilestache-server.py loads slowly if launched locally rather than via SSH

Hi all

Apologies for the brevity but Google Groups ate my first post!  In short I am wondering if anyone else has experienced the problem I have described here:

Correction: The title should read "serves slowly".

I found the 'solution': don't use tilestache-server.py use gunicorn or uwsgi: http://tilestache.org/doc/#wsgi
